The Kiwanis Club of Forest , the Kineto Theatre Indigenous Film Festival Committee and the Wiikwedong Arts Collective of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, are proud to announce the 2026 program for the Lambton Shores Indigenous Festival: Learning and Healing Together, taking place April 17–21, 2026.
Our festival has a deep commitment to community dialogue, cultural exchange, learning, and healing through film, storytelling, food, and art.
We extend heartfelt thanks to Candace Scott Moore of the Wiiwkwedong Arts Collective, whose vision, leadership, and dedication continue to make this festival possible, along with storyteller Richard Scott Moore. Due to a health emergency in Australia, Candace and Richard, who played key roles in planning our event, are unable to be with us in person but will attend in spirit.
Our treasurer Bridget went on a shopping spree for school supplies with funds raised during back to school and summer BBQ fundraisers. On the pictures staff from King George School and Queen Elizabeth. In total 8 schools received supplies, each value at $500. Thanks to our volunteers and the partnership with Enbridge.Bridget and Pam Ross (on the right) also went shopping for the H.W.Burgess P.S.
